CapriStone - Our Job Costing Model

Provide the customer with an “open book” approach when costing their job. Clearly breakdown and delineate all labor, material and services and show the customer the cost of each individually. Show the customer our anticipated profit on a separate line. It’s your money and you have a right to understand exactly how much we charge for our services at the quality point we provide but it goes beyond that. Most homeowners are at a severe disadvantage when dealing with design and/or construction issues, including fabrication specifics, installation methods, required time frames, quality assessment of raw or finished product and nearly every other aspect of the job between initially meeting us and providing final payment for a job completed. Due to this reality, contractors or trades people can take financial advantage of this. Dismissing that business path has obvious advantages for both parties but especially one of them is critical to Capri’s long term business plan. To stay competitive we can’t talk to 10 potential customers and get the business from 6 of them. Wasting that type of time significantly adds to overhead.
